Ducks are freaking out right now.
One night...we got a shit load of snow....
See?! They're freaking out!!
Even the Canadian flag is freaking out!
Lots of snow.
Our roof shingles are nearly all off and the winds are retarded. And guess what? Weather-wise, I know why! I'm learning about weather in geography so I'm being the nerd again and letting everyone know why. Basically, the jet stream wind that travels the world at an easy speed or 400 km/hour which is like 250 miles/hour. Anyways, it's moving and pulling the cool air from the north down giving us the -20 degrees celsius weather we're suffering through and the crazy winds....yeah, I'm a nerd. I know this.
Anywho, yesterday's elf auction went well. Most of the grads were cool with selling themselves for the good of the grad class. We made a grand total of 140-ish bucks and we're not even done with all the grads. We had so many that we had to add on Monday's lunch hour as well. It was so much fun. At first, everyone wanted to save their money but near the end some guys were being sold for 51 bucks! XD
Oh my math test wasn't the greatest. I got 78% and am not pleased. I needed that grade above 90% and I just sunk down again to a 'B'. *sigh* I guess I need to work on that. Geography is eh. We're learning about the weather, as I have mentioned before, and it's pretty interesting learning about all the wind cycles, etc.
I'm going out volunteering today and am worried we won't be able to get out of our drive way. It's a really steep covered in snow. So...I might not be able to make it. Which isn't a loss because I'm feeling pooped out from this week's past events.
Blah.
