Bad luck comes in threes?

It's been a few days since I've posted anything worth reading. But I just had to post something today because, for all you friends that have been around for long enough, you'd remember (or not) that today's the one year anniversary of my return from Japan. I still can't believe it's been a year already. I know I'm being cliche when I say that time really does fly and I didn't have to throw a clock out the window to prove it.

Anywho, it has been one busy weekend. My family got back on Saturday morning and what a relief. I really did miss them. But then once they got back my step dad tells me and my mom that he invited like 13 people or so over for the rest of the weekend. *sigh* On top of that, I put in a good, solid 15 hours in at work and today would be the 4th day in a row. I do get tomorrow and Wednesday off thankfully and my younger brother's coming up tomorrow for the summer.

It'll be nice seeing him again. To tell you the truth, out of all my 4 siblings, he is the only 100% blood sibling. The others are all from different parents and bla bla bla. It's kinda funny. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love my other sisters and brother, but nothing beats blood relatives. I mean, he's been there for most of my life and because we've moved to so many new schools (10 or 11 I think) he's always been my friend as well and we used to do a lot of stuff together when we were kids. XD

Man, this morning was chaos. All of our guests were leaving this morning and so it was a mad scramble to gather their stuff and eat breakfast. My step dad headed to his truck and came back to get something then left....but left his truck running, locked, and with the keys still inside. So we called a tow truck and got that all sorted out. But then one of our guests pulls out of the drive way and slams into my step dad's truck. *sigh* Then we were stuck calling insurance companies because Keith, the owner of the truck who drove into my step dad's truck, said he would cover it and seeing as he's American and all, the insurance companies weren't making it easy for him to get coverage here in Canada. *sigh*

...to top it all off, my step dad calls saying he just got a speeding ticket. It's just not his day today is it? XD
