"The City is at War..."

Work was utter madness. I swear, people synchronize their shopping and come all at once just to piss cashiers off. There were so many moments where it was just dead and then 10 people come out of no where. I'm not kidding. But I survived my longest shift yet (7 hours) and it wasn't all that bad. I'm really getting the hang of it.

My mom bought this super cool weight scale that measures, not only your weight, but your percentage in fat and water? It's cool though. You punch in your age, height, stand on it to get your weight in, and wallah! (sp?) it tells me that I'm fat. XD Well, not fat, but I was shocked to learn that I have like 40% fat. You don't think you're that bad until a small machine tells you you're holding onto some poundage. (I love all these new words <3). Speaking of poundage...I cheated today and had some super delicious and super fattening chocolate cookies. But other than that, I've been doing amazing with keeping to my healthy eatting. ^^

Reading is a great thing. I usually never have/make the time to read while in school but with this book Dallaire wrote, I've been taking it everywhere with me. I'll be writing a review about it afterwards and will be recommending it to everyone. And I'm planning on watching the movie as well. I've been watching some clips of it on youtube and let me tell you, I'm becoming more and more interested in this whole thing.

Oh and horrible horrible EPIC FAIL news....I lost my mp3 player. It sucks so bad because I'm dying without it. I feel so irresponsible too because I've been losing a lot of important stuff lately. I mean, it's hardly been a week or 2 since I misplaced my wallet and now this? So now I'm stuck buying a new one next paycheck or something. It just totally stinks and I wish I hadn't lost it.

Anyways, tomorrow I'm probably going to have to take a taxi to work because my family's off to my cousin's birthday. I don't work until 4pm so I have time to finish this 2 page essay then. I'm going to do some math before I hit the hay though so, night night.
