They cannot defeat their own executioners, so if they are caught by them, their safety is forfeit.

However, perhaps if they were to put aside their differences they would be able to do something to prevent such an outcome. Otherwise, they can only hope the executioners will retreat on their own.

Haha, I've yet to see a force of destruction so careful and considerate that everyone aside from the intended victim could safely ignore it. This will become our problem too, if it isn't already. And I don't like the implications of some kinda mental link connecting us all in the presence of these 'executioners.'

More to the point, they're Guardians.
