Who: Everyone/Anyone!
What: A very belated Party Time!
Where: The Cathedral.
When: From 6:30 - 11pm.
It's party time, Nuadoria.
The occasion is marked with a refreshing glimpse of blue sky, the rift of the fire plane overhead still slicing through the blue like a glimpse through a split seam - though the flames are of a more pleasant, inviting glow, casting a nice little well-lit path through the forest. The beasts all around have receded a little, but in their place along the roads and in the watch tower stand a somewhat familiar sight. Servants of Dai's stand as still as statues, dressed in the old, broken shields and rusty segments of armour. They've apparently been dug up from the old battlefield that creates the boundary between the city gate and the forest, those ancient relics brutally dragged out of the ground in tatters, cleaned up and placed on them.
Well. Dai's territory being Dai's territory, he's bound to make use of the valuable resources.
But that's not the only markedly curious thing, on the day of Dai's party.
There's also the fact that all those big broken statues, formerly clustered densely on the interior of the Cathedral like so much junk, have been distributed "artistically" throughout the city, including areas well beyond Dai's territory. Shattered remains of angels, mosaics, even old tomb markers, faces of dead gods. A broken one depicts Minerva, though she lacks both head and arms, and that one is given the best spot before the fountain. They all face (at least, those that can be said to have faces) towards the Cathedral through the woods, which stands like a diamond in the sunlight.
Just in case Dai's failed to get his point across, at 4 in the afternoon, each transmitter in Nuadoria will receive an express invitation to Dai's beautiful party, marked as commencing at 7pm (with the doors opening at 6:30) and ending at 11pm. There's a clipart of what looks like smiling cartoon curry attached.
Well, why not? The Cathedral doors are wide open, and with most of his servants out as sentinels, it's much quieter, sparser, and more inviting in the building... or so goes the idea. Drop yourselves in wherever you please. There's food of all kinds laid out with incredible care, apparently cooked by the servants. Others will be sitting off to the side of his throne, where it sits cemented in place at the altar, and they're playing light music on stringed instruments. Dai himself will be milling around and available at any time throughout the evening, for the most part.
And if there's anyone who might be feeling a little resistant to the idea of heading in the direction of the Cathedral, there isn't an armoured servant who wouldn't be inclined to give them a little 'press' in the right direction...
( There'll be a little event occurring at some point towards the end of the night, so you guys might want to hold off on comment threads occurring after 10:30pm. :') We'll keep you posted on that! But feel free to plant your characters anywhere you like; closed or open threads are just fine, and if you'd specifically like Dai to come over, let me know or mention in the subject and I'll get right on it! )
