Who: Tifa Lockhart (
notmemories), Cloud Strife (
schweigeminute)
What: idk tifa punches a hole through cloud jfc :|a
Where: somewhere in front of the prison
When:
after this She was going to check up on Caim-she really was, truly concerned for his well-being but there was Cloud to take into consideration, and Kadaj, and the fact that too many people had already settled into the role of recovering the Ice Magister that she wasn't sure what to do anymore. But for now, she had her priorities, to keep Cloud from charging headfirst into the situation, to look for Zack, to look for Aerith, to keep Reno in check and what was even going on anymore? Tifa wasn't sure, but she wanted to keep some kind of idea of what the people from her own world, her allies and acquaintances, was doing...
... but really, what was even going on anymore? She tried to push it to the back of her mind, dashing through the streets from the residential district to wherever it was Cloud was, that location meter growing closer and closer with every turn. Skidding to a halt, she placed a hand on the wall of some building, peering forward to make sure she wasn't heading into some sort of danger, before pushing forward towards Cloud.
And even if he was an illusion caused by this world, this disruption of the plane, at least she could still say she tried. As selfish as it sounded, she was glad he was here-even if it meant that Marlene and Denzel was somewhere back home, alone.
Alone? That's right... she didn't want to be alone. Zack and Aerith had been here once upon a time, and Zack, who had kept her in his company time and time again had finally left (... only to die in his timeline; how unfair was that?), and in turn, Tifa couldn't help but to feel lonely, to feel truly left behind. How selfish to want someone to keep her company at the expense of the loneliness of the children she promised to raise; how irresponsible! Except that with those thoughts, she didn't feel sorry at all, only dependent, and it was then she realized that this world had taken its toll on her after all these years (even with those lucky breaks in between).
She stopped, a hand raised to her chest as she looked around, exactly around the corner of Cloud's designated spot. The world was crumbling around them, and there wasn't too much time left, but-
maybe they could figure something out together. It always worked out for them, right?
