The pain was starting to get worse as he continued his way up the street. His vision was getting a little blurry because of the blood loss and he felt very sluggish now. However, despite all of these factors Xiao Meng managed to make his way through the city towards the old church at the edge of town. The assassin was lucky that Eve managed to deter the beasts away from the square, glad but worried for her. Despite how bizarre that little girl's powers may be, he felt cowardly for leaving her behind like this.
"Children like her shouldn't have to fight..." He grumbled to himself as he glanced down the avenue for a brief moment just to make sure there weren't any fiends lingering around.
"I hope she can handle it until others come." These others being the countless soldiers and warriors who are battling against these demons now, Meng hoped some of them were still alive.
Kicking open the door to the cathedral after having difficulties opening it, the wounded assassin stumbled in falling to his knees. Meng hoped that the healer was here, he spoken to Sakura briefly earlier but he wasn't sure if she would actually wait for him. Still dressed in the sheer pinks and lavenders of his dancer disguise, he frivolously hoped he wouldn't have to explain his attire to Sakura during all this chaos.
