Franziska flinched and reflexively twisted herself around, cracking her whip at the nearest building. This place was making her uneasy, and on top of that, now she had to wait for Miles Edgeworth.
The name made her cringe as it ran through her head. He always managed to remain a few steps ahead of her-- he always left her behind-- and this was no exception.
Only this time, he was offering her help.
She did not want his assistance, and she certainly did not want his sympathy... or to owe him anything.
Yet, she waited anxiously, stretching the taunt of her whip, ready to hit anything that dared to get too close to her. This place was quickly burning her patience away.
She steadily hated this place more and more by the minute.
