Who: Yuuki (
purebloodline) & Kaname (
truestblood)
What: Kuran Reunion!
Where: Outside the Cathedral, probably.
When: A little before the others are reaching the cathedral.
Emotions had run wild when Yuuki first learned of Kaname's presence here in Nuadoria, and the first she felt was worry. For the longest time, since her arrival to just recently, all she had had was Zero to rely on, to keep her company and remind her of home. That wasn't to say she couldn't talk to anybody else, but the only one that knew the truth, that understood her, was Zero. He was the only one that needed to know, and any other that asked received a laugh and the subject brushed off completely. As such, she had even fed from him, and vice versa. She felt guilty of it, there was no changing that, and it surely wasn't anything like Kaname's blood, but the guilt worsened after her brother appeared, and now...
Now, could she even face him?
Her hurried steps slowed as she thought more on it, head lowered and gaze focused solely on her boots as they crushed the leaves and brush below. It was no wonder that Kaname had felt the way he did; as if she didn't care. Of course she cared, she loved him, but having been so nervous must have shown otherwise. She ached to see him, to be with him, it was just difficult to say as much when she only felt that she had betrayed him in some way or another. Honestly, there was no hiding the fact, but maybe it just wasn't as serious a matter as she was making it out to be.
Though, that wasn't to say he would be too ecstatic. Anything that came to Zero always seemed to bring a frown upon his face.
She stopped then, shaking her head quickly with a noise of frustration. "It won't be like that," she muttered to herself, rubbing the back of her head while offering herself a silly grin. She just had to keep her spirits high. Despite everything, she didn't want to meet him with an unhappy expression. He deserved more than that, and after having not seen him for what felt like too long, she couldn't greet him with only a sad look. A smile was much more appropriate.
In the distance she could see the cathedral, and again her pace picked up to a near run. There was no point in dwelling over the problems, she would get to see Kaname again.
Back then, before all this, before he left, she had promised to leave with him to wherever he wanted when he came back. Whether this counted as his return or not, the deal was certainly still in play. His asking her to come to him, was this a part of it? Would he stay with her, now? There was no Rido, no council, and no sign of hunters (sans Zero), they could stay together here, right?
"Kaname!"
She broke through the forest, coming to a quick halt as she surveyed the area. He did say he was almost there, but maybe she beat him to it. Yuuki took a second to steady her breaths, then a slow step forward while her gaze continued to search her surroundings. "Kaname...?" It was too quiet, uncomfortably so. A shiver ran down her spine and she wrapped her arms around herself, shaking her head at the irrational thoughts rushing through her mind.
She was a pureblood vampire. What was left to fear of the others?
"I'll just wait..."
