I've been busy with school so I completely forgot about this livejournal account. Ha ha. I'm still in Uni. and I should be able to graduate soon in maybe fall this year or spring next year. Although I still need to get my associates degree certificate from NVC I never got it. I have the thing to display it in and they said they would mail the degree's 6 months after graduating but that was back in 2010 it's now 2012 and I have yet to get it. I haven't been able to get a hold of their graduating team or whatever it is they call them. So I think I may just have to actually go over and talk to them face to face. I had heard that they lost a lot of information on students when they tried to upgrade their black board or whatever website they use and it crashed and erased everything.
Other than that I still need to get my license and a job. Something I have been procrastinating on for a very long time!
School has been keeping me busy all year. I've been concentrating on my Japanese classes the most. I don't want to fail! I've had the same Japanese language teacher since Elementary Japanese all the way to Advance Japanese, Toma-sensei! She was an awesome teacher! I'm going to miss her. I was lucky enough last semester to get into her Advance Japanese class and she was a little worried about me being able to keep up because I hadn't been studying Japanese for a long while there was about a year gap in-between NVC and when I started at UTSA. I passed with a B! Unfortunately last semester was her last year teaching at UTSA because her husband got work in Hawaii, where Toma-sensei is from. Because of this she moved back to Hawaii. I was lucky to have her as a teacher, she was amazing and always willing to help! I'll miss you Toma-sensei! I'll write soon! 8D
This year I'm taking a Japanese film class. There's a new Japanese teacher her name is Fukuda-sensei and so far I really like her. She's fun. We have most of the same students from last years Japanese class in there plus another class. So two classes taking Japanese film but our work is different. There are regular students who don't know any Japanese and though we're doing the same assignments the only difference is the Japanese students are writing our assignments in Japanese. It's going to be tough for me because I still need my writing to be proof read. Ha. I hope I make it through this class OK!
I'm also taking Painting II (again), color theory and digital tools. I don't know how to use Flash yet and it's our first assignment. Oh noes! I'll figure it out.
Last year I took a Drawing III class and it was fun the best part was our final project could be anything we wanted to do. So I decided to make a comic book. Finally! I kept telling myself that I would start one and finish it. This time I did just that but I think it needs more work so when classes were over I was going to fix that problem. I have yet to do it.... I've been playing Skyrim the whole break. I got nothing done. Obviously. Since I was playing that addicting game the whole break my internal clock got all messed up! I played until 3 am but wouldn't go to sleep until 5 the next day I'd wake up around 4 or 5! I have no idea how that happened! Now I'm trying to get back into school time mode and it's kinda working. I'm just glad I didn't fall asleep in any of my classes this week.
I think that's about it! Besides what's left over from my loan I have almost no money left over, all of it is going to school books and art supplies! I need to start going back to CSL Plasma to donate!
Any other important news I guess would be my bro left a week ago or so to train in Indiana after that he's headed off to Djibouti, pronounced "Ja-booty", in Africa. So he'll be fighting Lions and Tigers and... mosquitoes Oh my! He'll be there for a year.
