I have so much random stuff to do, I can't even focus on work. Every time I try to focus, another thing I have to do before Brent, the boys and I leave for Hutch tomorrow afternoon pops into my head. Don't tell Brent, but I'm actually not dreading this weekend. Now that the weddings over, his parents are really cool about everything and from what I can tell they are excited we are coming up to visit (at least his dad is actively showing enthusiasm). Saturday night we are going to Anchor Inn, which has the best rice ever - it's my obsession and I demand going there every time. Other than that we will watch basketball all weekend and just relax. I'll also finally be able to start on
Eat, Pray, Love -which I have to finish soon for the book club.
Today's list:
- Go to Target and get gift card for baby shower
- Wrap baby shower present and gift card
- Drop off present
- Go buy flat iron (I am finally upgrading to a CHI. My last straightener crapped out on me last weekend and I've been "roughing" it ever since and am slightly going insane)
- Dinner with the group at Wild Wings (I will be lucky if this is just a 2 hour event)
- Workout
- Go through the fridge and toss all the leftovers (I don't want friends welcoming us home)
- Give Mac and Chip baths (this is not a top priority for me, but it is for Brent. He wants them clean for his parents. I feel he should do it on his own then, but unfortunately he does not see it that way also. And well, I lost).
- I wanted to paint my toenails because they are gross, but this is definitely at the bottom of my list
Tomorrow's list:
- Pack my suitcase and the boys (remember to bring photographer's wedding book)
- Make PB&J sandos for the road (we usually stop in Emporia for fast food, but we gave up fast food for Lent)
- Go to the bank (I need to remember my marriage license for this one)
Edit (12:43 pm.):
- Download new Matchbox Twenty songs onto iPod (the concert is Monday and Brent doesn't know any of their "newer" stuff)
