Wingies!
Dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings on Thursday nights just keeps growing. It used to be just Brent and me celebrating the 50 cent boneless wings, last night we got the entire gang to come (minus Kelley) - Tito, Cole, Julia, Cody and Sara. It was great seeing everyone in a more sober state of mind. Julie and I were definitely out numbered though, the "others" at the table were cheering for Virginia Tech...boo on them. Not that it mattered because KU won anyway. I'm just happy that Brent's and my friends merged so nicely and everyone gets along and looks forward to getting together. It's a great group of people, and I have a blast with them.
As for today, I get to take Macintosh to the vet in a little. I swear, he is the happiest dog ever. Whenever I pull into the vet's parking lot, he gets so excited he can't stand it. Mac loves his vet and makes sure to always give plenty of kisses whenever he sees him. The whole production of it all just makes me laugh. He actually gets mad at me when it's time to go and has refused to get into the car several times. (That part isn't so much fun).
After that it is grocery store time. I think this will be the first Friday I have cooked dinner in, ummm, forever. Typically, Friday and Saturday nights are reserved for going out to eat or ordering in, but I found a fabulous recipe that I am craving to try - cheesy pasta chili - sounds like a winner to me, plus it will provide lunch tomorrow. (If the recipe isn't a dud, I will post directions soon). This will be the second Friday in a row where I have done nothing and I am definitely looking forward to it.
New Year's Resolution Addition: Finish getting my damn name changed. I'm tired of having to take my marriage license with me every time I deposit a check.
