The weekend
Friday night a group of us went to the opening of Dualing Piano Bar. It was rather fabulous and the drinks were super cheap. I'm pretty sure we are going back this Saturday night...already excited.
Saturday, after 2 weather delays, I finally got to watch the Jawhawks kick some Baylor Bear ass. After that, Brent and I went to Manhattan for the KSU/Colorado game. I gave his parents the wedding book I made them. And I am really shocked to say that his mom LOVED the book - she went on and on and it seriously made my day. I have never seen her that enthusiastic about anything. In fact, I would have just been thrilled with a "thank you." That night we spent the night at Sam and Jaimee's place so we wouldn't have to drive home.
Sunday we had lunch with Sam and Jaimee before heading back to Kansas City. When we got home, I took a magnificent 2-hour nap. Then we went over to my parents house for dinner - chicken fajita soup - yum! That night Brent and I watched America's Most Smartest Model and then called it a night.
