eh, another weekend gone by....
Well, first off....Mary was down here to visit Tony & Linda for the weekend, we all ended up going out to dinner Friday night...I was gonna head back to Alpharetta, but I stayed. We headed downtown and went to Canyon's for dinner...it was okay...after that I stopped by Scruffy's because Deb was working...and then we headed to a Ranger party because they supposedly had kegs and stuff...so we made our way back to Ft Benning and when we got there, it was a outside party! holy shit! it was like 40 degree's out! so it was cold! well...everyone was married and older, so me and mary felt like outsiders. We basically grabbed some drinks and hung out by the chimnea (sp?) but our luck we were on the opposite side of the wind so all the smoke was blowing on us, so our eyes were watering and we were coughing and we smelled of oak. Linda and Tony were mingling and me and married just talked by the fire, so it was nice...she's really matured and seems less....I dont know how to say it without being rude, but she seems less selfish. Anyways, we were gonna go out after the party...but everyone was tired and I had to make it back to ATL early Saturday morning for the GM ride and drive. Well, we got home and we talked some more while she was doing laundry, but I think we are actually okay with each other now, no more animosty towards each other...which is good, because it's gonna be kinda hard to avoid each other now once she graduates and comes back to Atlanta.
Anyways, Saturday was awesome! I got a late start because I made breakfast for Linda and Mary...and then I hauled ass back to Atlanta got into town around 10ish and bought Family Guy seasons 1,2,and 3 for 40 bucks! what a deal! I love price matching! haha. Well, I finally made it back to my house and I helped my mom clean up the house while I was there, and then David finally made it to the house and I cordinated with everyone and we made our way down to the Varsity to meet up with the guys before we hit the ride and drive. Well, after eating we headed to Turner field and got signed in...holy shit that place was packed! we didnt screw around with the passenger cars, we headed straight for luxury and performance cars. Well, the cool cars, GTO, Corvette's, and BMW, were all packed, so I went to the first line that was short, which happened to be SAAB....well, me and david chose the SAAB 9-5 Wagon...because we thought it would be funny....well, once it was our turn...the guy would say "25mph, and no tire noise, oh wait...you cant do it in this car" well, that sounded like a challenge to me! So once it was my go, I floored it and never let off! I squeeled around every corner! and I was told to "Cool it" and I ended up doing that 4 more times! ha! I also got to drive the Cadilac CTS-V, a 400hp caddy....wow. That thing was awesome! I want one! in this car, you were supervised with a ride along official, well I floored it thru the straights and when the corner came around I dropped back into first and the guy yells "WHAT ARE YOU DOING???!! OFF THE GASS! OFF THE GAS!" so I had to coast it thru the corner and then on the straight he let me floor it again...bastard! I had it under control! anyways, there was also a SAAB 9-2X which is basically a Subuaru WRX Wagon...it looked neat, it had 17'alloys and hood scoop and a little lower....well, I flogged the shit out of this car too...about 3 times. Once me and david had the car down pat, I was ebraking it thru the corners so the rear would kick out, well Mikey and Jeff wanted to ride along, so that was 4 guys now...I did the usual and came barrelling thru the corners, but with the added weight you could feel the car not hold as well, anyways...I came to the hairpin and I was going way to fast and just for giggles I yanked up the ebrake and powerslid over 9 cones! hahahaha! we look up and all the officials were on their walkie talkies and came running over...we got booted! but what a way to go! haha
anyways, michael is on his spring break and he had no plans so he decided to follow me back to Columbus on Sunday. We got a late start and made it into town around 6;30. I took him to Cheddar's last night so he could get some good eats and to have a witness on how girls think I'm exotic! Well, we originally sat in Barbara's section, but once I saw Danielle, we quickly switched. Anyways, I got jumped like 5 times! and every girl working stopped by and hanged out with us for a minute! so ha! if you dont believe me! I now have a witness!
anyways, I am gonna take him downtown today and then to CSU and then some lunch with Linda.
