UUUUAAAGHHHH I'M IN EXCRUCIATING PAIN RN SO I'LL MAKE THIS AS SHORT AS I FUCKING CAN. My back has been killing me since Tuesday & I can barely tolerate anything rn. This is late. I know. It was all because of my apartment complex's wi-fi, it croaked again. :/ Apparently the apartment complex locks the wi-fi every 27th-30th/31st of every month. Why? THEY'RE TRYING TO GET YOU TO PAY THE RENT TBH. I have no fucking clue but it's absolutely RIDICULOUS. :/ I can't whine tho. All I know is that I went out of my way to post this. It took a lot but I figured out a way. :O BOO I'M GASLESS NOW I'M AT MY AUNTS HOUSE RN.
SO HERE ARE SOME ICONS. Some are hot messes & some are nice. I put my HEART & SOUL into these icons. I am not exaggerating, these icons took a lot out of me. It's both of round one & two's solo20in20 claims. Round one's claim being Ao No Exorcist & round two's being Mawaru Penguindrum. Obviously by now you guys know the story of why round one's claim was never posted. There were 3 main reasons for it not being posted. LOLOLOL OH GODDDDD I LOVE THIS SERIES SFM RN. I have to say that it's my favorite anime atm. Every week I go the fuck out of my way to watch it. It's fun, crazy & just a huge mindfuck to me. Honestly I love everything about it. YES REALLY. I just love it so much & I sincerely enjoyed iconning it. IT KILLED ME BC SOME OF THE CAPS WERE FLAT AS FUQ & I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO PROPERLY SHADE YET. This Mawaru Penguindrum set, with the exception of two icons (& it's alternates), was completely made in Photoshop 6. I, at the moment, am proud of this set. WHY? LOOK I WANTED BRIGHT, I MADE BRIGHT. I worked my ass of on this set. I was only able to work with caps from the series bc the series is very limited on scans. Hopefully with these things in mind you can kindly judge my set. The difference between my old comps monitor & my MacBooks monitor is immense. The color difference between Safari & Google Chrome is also immense. The difference between PhotoshopCS5 & Photoshop 6 is GREATLY immense. These little things made a huge difference in how I was judging my coloring, saturation, & sharpening. Honestly it's daunting to see how different my icons look in all of these programs & monitors. :/

➝ Hyancinthus: OH GOD I WENT INSANE BC OF THIS ICON. I decided to color one of the ending art things from one of the episodes & HOLY SHIT. I just…I COLORED IT ALL. ; A ; BE PROUD OF ME PLZ. Scan + IDKWTFIWASDOING = this. lol I told you I didn't know what I was doing.

➝ Siren: I'm bitter about this icon bc I couldn't use the original thing I colored. I colored another of those end credit thingies only to have it not translate well. :/ So I went back, took inspiration from my printer~ (CMYK U GUYZ), desaturated it, went with a CMYK color scheme, blocked it & called it a day. Used lyrics from Amy Winehouse's "Back To Black". I do love this icon though, it's one of my favs from this batch.
➝ Moirae: OMG ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~DESTINYYYYYYYY~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ IS LIKE A HUGE PART OF THE SHOW TBH. JUST… THIS WAS THE EASIEST ICON TBH. If you've seen the series you'd know that Ringo has thing about destiny. That's all I'll tell you. ;l
➝ Nymph set: Took the easiest way out. Sry. It's basic & failtastic, I had no idea what to do. Every scan I tried looked TERRIBLE. It bummed me out bc I had this terribly genius idea & wasn't able to pull it off because of the pain I was in.
➝ AC Set: I WAS HORRIBLE & DECIDED TO MAKE A FAIL SET. THE END. The letters are the first letter of each corresponding characters name. ALSO THE PRINCESS & HIMARI ARE 2 DIFFERENT PPL BC THE HAT IS A DIFFERENT ENTITY. IDK. If there's a problem with this then…uhhh tell me?

Lmao I've been hiding these icons for a month already so I guess it's time you see them. :/ HOT MESSES TBH. I practiced manga coloring in this set like there's no tomorrow. I was going crazy bc AnE animu/colored manga scans do not translate well into icons. :/ FY THO. ALSO I DID NOT ICON ALL THE CHARACTERS DUE TO LACK OF MATERIAL. IT SUCKS THO BC AFTER I FINISHED MY SET THE 7TH VOLUME'S COVER CAME OUT & I WAS LIKE SMH BC IT HAD KONEKO & I LIKE KONEKOMARU~ :/ Now let's talk about the icons. First off I must say that I made the Ao No Exorcist claim in a Photoshop CS5 trial I had on my MacBook. My old school computer with Photoshop 6 that I normally work with was packed up & inaccessible to me. I had no mouse & only had my tablet to work with. I also only had a limited amount of scans, textures & fonts that were in my flash drive. DUDE I DON'T KEEP SHIT IN MY MACBOOK EXCEPT FOR MUSIC/SHOWS/MOVIES. IT'D BE TOO MUCHHHHH. I also had no internet to download stuff so I had to work with what I had in my disposal. With that in mind I hope you can ~rightfully judge the AnE icons. I also hope you can enjoy them. I'm quite proud of some of them but some I am not. When I made the set I decided after the 3rd or 4th icon that I wanted the set to have a very modern art/typography feel. Like the cool artwork you find on FFFFOUND! I tried to do something different. Obviously that did not happen. :/
