so ok. i am off work all this week and next week also. i decided that once and for all i am going to take my car to peices and make it all better. off to the shop i went to get bulbs, brake discs and pads, spark plugs and filters.
the light bulb situation was easily resolved. however, the persistant oil leak problems continue which involves dropping the transmission and other freaky things that are beyond me so the car is booked in the garage.
the brakes and other stuff can wait until the weather is abit better (its raining today) but at least my side lights work now!
Dave P called me up mid morning to arrange to go to lunch. he picked me up and we drove into town narrowly missing being taken out by a garbage truck due to daves lack of indicating, and garbage truck drivers' speeding.
so yeah lunch was on Dave since i left my wallet at home! (he he) and i think after his poor driving, it was justified.
so later i arrange to meet bryn at the gym, who doesn't turn up leaving me on my own to knacker myself out after 2 weeks away due to recurrent colds. i txt him after calling him a scarab beetle for not coming to which he replies slightly confused making some excuse about going home and falling asleep. i bet his girlfriend came round and i don't blame him for staying in. lucky git!
i got home to find my housemate asleep and NOT cooking dinner. i was very hungry after the gym antics and needed food which eventually arrived in the form of steak, chips and salad. very tasty except the spring onions were laced with plutonium!
