well today was work. no boss- no stress.
in addition, one of the other managers was leaving to a better job and better pay so a pub lunch followed by a re-group in the pub after work made the day go a lot quicker.
i had been nominated DES by my housemates but after a little bit of convincing by bryn and cherry along with the promise of free tickets to esquires, i drove my inebriated housemates home, got changed then went out in bedford for the first time this year.
Dannys bar had a pub-style covers band only made listenable by the talents of the lead guitarist. once the disco bit opened at 11 we got the hell out of the bar to the prospect of better music.
so yeah got a little drunk, danced, bryn ranted when he took a piss-take far too seriously and i had to calm him down. other than that it was a pretty good night. the only thing about going to places like esquires is that i do feel quite old but hey i look young so its not so bad. i certainly wasn't the oldest there.
