Nintendo 89
Went to school today for the usual boring schedule when I realize today was that concert thingy at the nugget(bar/resturant on campus), yea thats right we got beer at school, beat that suckas. Anyway Apalooza @ the nugget with a bunch of bands starting at 6pm and ending whatever. I only knew two bands on the bill but I like one of them and my friends cant stop talking about the other so I thought I would check it out and see what it was about.
I got in after my last class and Holden was playing. They were pretty good I liked the two songs I heard. Next up was Maxeen, I only have they're single from the warped tour cd "please" and they started thier set with it. They sounded EXACTLY like the recorded version, which is awesome cuz few bands can do that live. They ended up playing all their new stuff from the cd they are about to start recording. It all sounded pretty good, I'll have to check that out when its released.
Next band was Audio Karate. This was the main reason I went cuz I have never heard them and many of my friends will swear by them. I bought a shirt, I wanted this kick ass one with a haunted house on the front but I would prolly rip it the first time I wore it so I settled on a green Tiger one. They were good but a lot better once they got people to stand up and get around the stage(they really got into it then). Some large fat guy tried starting a mosh pit, spilt a beer, slipped on the beer, landed dead center ass in beer puddle, then got up and walked away looking very stupid. The singer barely kept it together in the middle of a song it was soo funny.
O before you yell at me for not telling any of you about it, You had to be a student to get in, or else I would have told ya all.
