*is getting frustrated*
So, I'm doing a Merlin/Arthur story for a challenge on
reel_merlin which is my take on Down With Love that I am now hopelessly stuck on.
The main problem I have is that I want to keep it in the same time period as the series. This is because I'm worried that if I move it to the 60's, where the actual film is set, or perset day then I'll end up just writing the movie again - not good.
The problem I have is how do I deal with the fact that, in the movie, DWL is a book. The whole 'central characters are writers/publishers/editors' has been worked around (I hope).
Any ideas on what I could replace it with?
