(no subject)
By the time I get this written and posted it will be past midnight so happy christmas. Sadly I don't think that my wish will come true - see icon for said wish - but I can wait. It's not long till my birthday so maybe then.
Spent most of today watching tv and wrapping presents. Speaking of tv my highlight of the day was Torchwood. It seems strange that there are only two episodes left but double bill on New Years Day.
YAY!!
Back to tonights episode though. Haha Gwen - Jack, Owen and Rhys don't want you anymore. So evil drugging Rhys just so you could be forgiven.
But woah Owen - poor cariad - what are those mean writers doing to you? First they give you a chance at happiness away from Gwen (I like her less because of tonights ep) only to take it away and then you spend a fair chunk of time this week getting into fights. But praise must go to Burn Gorman for his fab acting over the past couple of eps and to Noel Clarke for giving us a amazing episode.
Also how happy was I that we got to see a lot more of Ianto in this episode, and in the nice dark suit - my own vote for his 'cute suit' and how happy was I when Jack said that he wanted Ianto to go with him instead of Gwen:) He actually felt like a proper part of the team. I know that there was Countrycide but I can't help but think that he was only there because the rest of them felt guilty about leaving him on his own after what happened in Cyberwoman.
All in all Combat was a very well written episode - yay Noel Clarke again - and this seemed to solidify my liking of Owen and my dislike of Gwen.
