Dean could only stand there in disbelief when Castiel told him what was wrong.
Sam had no soul. It was gone. Cas doing the whole 'plunging his fist into Sam's chest' bit proved that. he didn't like it when this was needed to be done but he wasn't left with mouch choice
Dean didn't think it was possible. How could Sam be back without his soul. That was everything to a person. Or that's what he'd figured anyway from all the things demons do to get their hands on them.
He had guessed the soul would have been tied into his emoitions but he never figured it wouild go this deep.
His brother was a soulless thing. Every instinct in him was telling him that he shouild put a bullet in Sam's head but he knew he couldn't.
There still was a chance to get it back. He had to live in hope that there was some kind of ............... redemption for him.
This one sucks. I know it does. But I have to write something and this got in my head while I was watching it.
