Next part of the Torchwood story. I'm happy that I'm able to write this and be reasonably happy with it. It's not perfect by a long stretch but I think it's ok.

Jack sauntered up to Ianto’s door, not wanting to look like he was in a hurry when he really was, and rang the doorbell.
“Come in Jack” Ianto’s voice sounded distant.
“How’d you know it was me?”
Ianto came out of the bathroom, finishing with his tie.
“Saw you from the window. See you couldn’t part with it, then”
Jack looked down at himself. He thought he looked the part. Then re realised
“What? I need a coat, it’s cold out there.”
Ianto just laughed. “Fair enough.” He grabbed his own coat from the sofa. “Shall we go then? Don’t want to keep the others waiting if it’s cold out.”
Jack placed his hands on Ianto’s hips. “Not so fast, let me get a good look at you” He spun Ianto round, not letting go for one second.
“Gorgeous.”
Ianto looked down at his shoes to stop Jack seeing the blush on his face. “Thank you, sir”
“No ‘sir’ tonight, Ianto.”
He looked into Jack’s sparkling eyes. “Sorry. Force of habit”
“It’s ok. There’s a few habits of my own that I feel compelled to do around you.”
Ianto raised an eyebrow. “Such as?”
“This.” He placed his lips over Ianto’s in a gentle, but passionate kiss. All the while pulling Ianto closer to him.
Only when air become an issue did they stop. Well, Ianto stopped. Jack was more than content to keep going, peppering kisses over Ianto’s jaw and neck.
“Jack, we.......we really should........should be going.”
“I agree. Going to that comfy bed of yours and forgetting the whole going out bit”
“Your idea, though.”
“So? I’m the boss, remember?”
Ianto was about to give in when the sound of Jack’s phone ringing stopped him.
“Saved by the ringtone.”
“What?”
“Jack, it’s Owen. Put Ianto down and hurry up. The girls are freezing and me and Rhys are dying for a pint, so get down here now!”
“Duty calls, boss.” Ianto opened the door beside them and walked out into the cold night.
From Jack’s perspective, it was going to be a long night.
