I'm in a particularly good mood right now.
Only had 3 lessons today, all of which went fine without too much hassle. Met up with Seyton briefly when I went into town to get some lunch, which made me happy as always. Then came home to do my driving lesson, and I got bored waiting in Aldi car park for her to meet me, so I went into Aldi and *WOAH* it's amazing.
Amazing in a bad way that is. Everyone in there is so old. Not old in the sense of cute chubby grannies with curly hair and cardigans, oh no. These people looked like they had the life force sucked out of them and had been on the old skag for the past 40 years. The rest either had a limp, slack jaw, googly eyes (not just poked out, but actually poking out on their already poking out forehead, hard to explain). One man was evening dribbling on himself and he was about 30. The only branded alcohol they do is Baileys. And the "in season" chiller consisted of mixed lettuce, quiche, pizza and pork pies (wtf! pork pie season?!). Even I wouldn't have eaten the quiche and that's saying something.
Then had a 2 hour driving lesson and went further afield. We went to Billericay, and then Brentwood/Hutton area (she was surprised at how well I seemed to be coping with the new surroundings, until I told her it's where my ex lives) and just had a really good lesson in general. She said I'm doing really well, and only one minor hiccup when a squirrel darted out in front of me, and I closed my eyes, let go of the steering wheel and shrieked. Luckily I didn't hit it, although I nearly crashed the car hehe. I also got stopped by a lolipop lady which made me happy because we never got lollipop ladies :( I think they wanted us all to be flattened.
And I'm going to have to have mondo sleep tonight, because I either have The Darkness tomorrow (if Alex is well enough) or in any case I might sleep loads as I fell asleep on the train coming home like a pensioner and it just wasn't cool.
And so I'd best get down to some homework or some funky beats, i'm finding it hard to choose.
