THAT'S COOL, MAN! I HAVE AN IRRATIONAL FEAR OF DANCING IN PUBLIC!

I just finished watching Black Hawk Down. It's Remembrance Day here and it was kinda topical, though I usually don't like watching so much violence no matter what the occasion. Still, if you're going to remember something so graphic, it always helps to remember with Bill Fichtner.
Also: "Good Lord, that man has white teeth. I knew there was a reason I like him."
Funniest part in the movie was when... well, it wasn't actually IN the movie, because it's not a funny movie, but after an hour and a half or so of people dying left and right, my mom had grown a little tired of all the dying, so she was going back and forth between the movie and the laundry. So onscreen, the main guys are creeping across a deserted street. It's all very tense, and then one guy falls, and my mom stops and goes "WOAH!" But the guy had just tripped on the curb, and kept right on going. Like this was the thing that really set my mom off, this guy tripping. It was hilarious. I immediately started to make fun of her.
"WOAH! WOAH NOW! NOW THAT IS NOT ON! HIS KNEE IS SCRAPED!"
"WOAH! THAT GUY WENT DOWN! AND THEN HE GOT UP AGAIN!"
Etcetera, I'm merciless.
And what gets me is the biggest flak this movie gets is for lack of characterization. I'd say they did what they could with what time they were given. There really wasn't a lot of time for it.
Amid roaring gunfire:
"BY THE WAY, I HAVE FATHER ISSUES!"
"I USE A NIGHTLIGHT WHEN I GO TO SLEEP!"
"THAT'S COOL, MAN! I HAVE AN IRRATIONAL FEAR OF DANCING IN PUBLIC!"
"GOOD STUFF, SERGEANT! NOW LET'S MOVE OUT!"
I seriously yelled like that for about an hour. It was fun.
Now, I may be biased, but I definitely think that William Fichtner's character (don't ask me his name, there was no time to learn names) was the most bad-ass motherfucker there. A close second would be that guy who may or may not have been Jason Isaacs. You know: Lucius Malfoy? I don't know, I thought he was British. I though that was, like, a rule of Harry Potter. Only British people allowed.
I should really be doing chemistry. I have to prep a lab for tomorrow.
Last Prison Break episode before January tomorrow. Can't wait, as my enthusiasm for Prison Break has been 100% rejuvenated by my discovery of the real Walgreens victim (I am definitely never shopping there again, btw. Too many bad associations.) Withdrawn Mahone attempting to testify will be humourous, and I love the interactions between him and Lang, always have.
No! Okay, must do homework now. I really, really must. Be going now, goodbye!
