PB 4.04 "Eagles & Angels" + Invasion + Fic Community?

Sep 16, 2008 14:24

Hey. So. Just finished watching PB 4.04. I dunno, it was okay. It was, tbqh, exactly what I was expecting. After the craziness and emotional roller-coaster-ness of last episode, all I felt like seeing was a mildly entertaining caper with costumes and quips and a dash of suspense. And that's all it really was, so cool.

I guess I have a couple of comments... )

pb season iv, pb: eagles & angels, mds, alexander mahone, prison break, fanfiction, invasion

Hello, mindtwin. :)

Again, my thoughts basically mirror yours. I liked Linc, *loved* Roland flinching when Alex came near, Wentworth's slightly-crazed voice (which, I actually totally love. I *love* that voice, I do), T-Bag... Yeah. Everything.

I also like those Invasion episodes the best, I think. I haven't seen them for a while.

I have that bio! I have the book, actually. Somewhere... Anyway, it doesn't say anything more than that he has a brother. Whose name is Peter. :/ I mean, it *does* say other stuff, just not about the brother.

I think it's great that you're thinking of creating a fic community, and would offer my services if I was any good. Which I am not.

Hey, lady. (I can't stop saying that. Lady = word of the week.)
You must must tell me what else is in the book pertaining to Alex. I don't even care, the smallest details. I mean, if you can find it.
You should join anyway, if only to marvel in the wonder that is my wealth of plot bunnies. You could be inspired to no end. Please please? You don't have to write if you don't want to. I don't have anyone else who likes Alex/Pam the way I do. *sad puppy dog eyes*

Yes. My comment was SO LONG, it needed to be in two parts. I am so embarrassed.

Anyway, some of the stuff in it isn't exactly accurate (or is completely contradictory) when compared to the show, but it's still pretty neat. I think so, anyway.

Hee. I think I could manage that... if you insist. And, dammit, those puppy dog eyes get me every time! :P Plus, Alex/Pam FTW, I don't even care anymore.

Also: pretty sure this is the longest comment ever. Sorry. *is embarrassed some more*

Oh, god, I'm sorry, I didn't know it was so long. Thanks so much for going to all that trouble for me.
I really don't like Pam's last name, 'Austin'. She is not an Austin. Pam will forever be Pamela Oakes to me.
Yeah, didn't Alex say he was from Boardman, Ohio (Mahoning County, lol)? I'm going to have to pick through this and figure out what I'll treat as canon. This was incredibly useful, thank you. *hugz*

Oh, I'm not complaining or anything. It was nice to look at it all again. Remember the good ol' days when Prison Break sort of made sense. ;)

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan, either...

Yes, yes he did. Maybe he was born in California, but grew up in Ohio? Or just made up something 'cause he didn't really feel like sharing his life story with Whistler. Or something.

No problem. :D Glad to be of service. *hugs back*

I thought of that too (the born vs. grew up thing), but I still take it with a grain of salt.
Austin's the last name of my dad's girlfriend's children. Not that it's bad associations or anything (they're lovely people), but Austin means them, Oakes means Pam. My word is gospel. Hallelujah.
*looks for the book at Amazon* Holy crap, only $8? This is so mine. Right now.
You keep inspiring me to buy stuff. You're going to inspire me right into massive debt. :P
