If anyone would like to mark their doors with blood, I have some--one or two doors' worth.  It doesn't take much.  Mark it like this.  I don't know how closely the deities expect us to follow the Biblical myth, but it seems sensible to replicate it as closely as possible.  The blood came from a young male lamb... unblemished, as prescribed.

With Shilo's permission, any friends unwilling to follow this ritual can come over.  We should be safe.

Xanadu is, from the network entries I've read, being spared.  Use it as a safe haven if you trust that it isn't a trap.  I'm reluctant to believe that the garden's safe; it's an easy way out.  The deities seldom make it that easy.  Perhaps they're trying to lure us all into one place so they can destroy us more efficiently.  Take your chances with it, however, if you like.

I don't believe in a Biblical god--or any other--but I do believe the deities will follow this series of curses to its obvious end.

[Action for Building 3, Apartment 14]

[The apartment's lintels are painted with blood and, inside, Justin is attempting to roast the lamb's meat (learning how to dissect human corpses made him a proficient butcher, if not a decent chef) with bitter herbs and make unleavened bread.  He's following the Bible as closely as possible, leaving nothing to chance.  He was careful, however, not to make a mess.  The only blood in the apartment is in containers in the fridge.

No, Shilo was not consulted.]

[ooc: Action for Shilo and anyone who cares to pop by, regular entry for everyone else. Justin did something relatively spontaneously! It's a red-letter day!]

action, murderer, plagues, tastes like chicken, at least it can't get worse, curse, do not want, ew
