The longer I'm in the City, the less I find I have a need to say on the network.  What hasn't been said already?  Anything I could type has undoubtedly been said already--and more eloquently--in the hundreds of thousands of network entries before this one.

One could say that hardily anything we say nowadays is original... just an inversion.

I would say it's repetition without inversion.

Well... that's a negative view of the world... but knowing how the City works, someone's world is probably just like that.

I like to think it's realistic.

How do you view the world?

I'm not sure some days after I discovered my world was connected to many more worlds each dominated by Riders... and there is one Rider who connects and destroys us all.

Beyond that... I like to think we have free will. Why would we be so diverse if not?

I didn't mean in that way.

Of course we have free will--not for the sake of diversification, maybe.

No... I was using "diversification" as a point of justification for free will.

In a more metaphysical sense, I think.

You don't need to justify the existence of free will to me. If I believe in anything, I believe in it.
