We will never know, unless someone tries.

If the network is any indication, at least one person has tried. They apparently found themselves at home.

Why don't you try?

Truly? Hard to believe. Why would they still have their network devices at all! No one before sent greetings when they left the City.

Perhaps I will, perhaps I won't. Still waiting.

No one who was dead in the City has ever returned home, either. If current circumstances can allow for one impossibility, they may admit others.

Waiting?

They were dead? How curious.

Waiting and watching, Mister Pendleton. Currently I No reason to be among the first. Who knows what might happen, hm?

No, but the dead--supposedly--can go home as well as the living.

Hm.

They told me the same. Interesting, isn't it?

Will you try, I wonder.

Interesting, impossible... but nothing about this City is possible.

I don't see how it matters to you.

Tsk, impossible. The dead do leave the City sometimes.

But I'd like to know, isn't that enough? I answered, didn't I.

But they don't go home. I've left and I didn't go home.

For whatever it's worth to you, yes, I'm going to try.

You did! Really. Where did you go, I wonder. It's relevant!

Then perhaps I should wait to see if you send greetings, too.

I went nowhere.

If you want. If you'll excuse me, I need to go.
