[She probably shouldn't giggle, but she can't help it.]
Should I ask you what you do that's "humanic?" Okay, here goes:
If you're from a Christian, Jewish or even Islamic background, try to align yourself with the notion of demons being generally powerful non-humans who aren't gods, have their own motives and goals, and are generally unpredictable and often inimicable to humans. But not from your or anyone else's version of Hell.
Once you've aligned yourself: I'm a doctor, engineer and mechanic. I tear apart computers for fun and put them back together in better working order than they had been. I'm a pretty good programmer, and I'm a total geek, and I can fix or make just about anything. I'm no where near as powerful as my brothers, but this doesn't bother me because I'm smarter than they are.

May I ask you a stupid question?

Heh. Not really. Because my brother gets all the cool lines, I'll paraphrase one of his: I'm what humans would call a demon.

[Because of course the City has demons!]
What do you do that's demonic?

Doctor, engineer, and mechanic? That's impressive. Intelligence undoubtedly gets you farther than power would.

I'm older than I look, kid. I'm smart, but I also had a lot of time to learn.

Would it be impolite to ask you how old you are?

It's a little tough to convert exact birthdates, but I was born in the late 1800s. I'm probably about 140 something.
