Given the prevalence of time distortion in dreams, I doubt I can rule out the hypothesis that I'm dreaming based solely on my perception that this has lasted longer than most dreams do. Hypothetically, radiocarbon dating or uranium fission tracking could be used to determine whether or not this is the future, if not to indicate an exact date. Hypothetically.
