Actually, there are two things wrong with it:
1. It's stupid, and
2. It's wrong
It's stupid because you're trying to teach kids about chemistry without any actual chemicals. At best, you've just made science super-boring, congratulations.
It's also wrong because everything you see in that picture is made of chemicals!
