Interesting research that, if something is harder to read (poor font choice, crappy photocopying, etc.), then it's easier to recall, presumably because you need to give it more attention.

So, if you're a teacher, stop spending so much time improving the readability of your handouts, and switch the font to something Gothic, in yellow typeface on a white background.
