How to make "glow sticks":
Mix 1g of drain cleaner (lye) with 200ml of water. Gradually stir in 1g of luminol powder until it dissolves. In a separate container, mix 1ml of hydrogen peroxide in 100ml of water. Add 0.25g of table salt until dissolved. Shake both solutions together in the sealed plastic water bottle and it will glow bright blue.
Now, where do I get some luminol?
