talked about the low level of sunspot activity and the apparent La Nina forming in the Pacific, both of which could cause some interesting developments in the weather this year. At the time, I said that all it would take was for the Katla volcano in Iceland to awaken, and we could be completely screwed, weather-wise. Well, guess
what? Katla's starting to see earthquake activity, and lots of earthquakes are often a sign that a volcano is about to cut loose.
