Worse than useless?
Energy Star was created to help consumers choose more environmentally-friendly products. However, it appears the certification may not be all it's cracked up to be - they recently certified a gasoline-powered alarm clock, along with other questionable "energy saving products". This isn't the first time the program's been mired in controversy, but it still beats Bill Clinton's other legacy...
