You will always be one of the most precious parts of 13yrs of a far better time in my life, and remain to this day a better friend than many humans I've encountered since. I can still feel your insistant nudges, wet button nose, soft sleek shiny coat .. hear your abounding affection & delight chasing seagulls on long beach walks in many a salty windswept sunset. How it aches for your abscence more than ever this year, but may my heart always carry you this close with me little beloved.
