Too lazy to write paragraphs!
A list of things that have happened/crossed my brain within the past 24 hours:
- I don't like the word, "mull."
- Thought about Ted from the NULC Conference for the first time in... months? He was so cool, and I had to
look up an old entry about the NULC to remember his name. :(
- talking with Sheree about the Canadian Wheaties
- making myself not call some people and being too chicken to call others
- going GPS-treasure hunting with Web yesterday and his GPS device. We found tickets to see an IMAX movie
and left some clove gum and a spiral-y paperclip for the next person to find
- ate ok noodles and drank soap-tasting tea at the Purple Dot Cafe in Chinatown with Web.
- visited Pink Godzilla, a store dedicated to everything Nintendo and all the Japanese clones and
Nintento-like systems (such as Famicon.) The guys in the store were fluent in both English and Japanese.
- Had a vegetarian Coney Island hot dog at Cyber Dogs (though I didn't work today) and visited with Tania,
the owner. She's proud of her new, red Crocs.
- Rick (ATG's manager) scored Raymond a round-trip plane ticket to visit me in Seattle for only $100.
Rock on! Rick also works full-time at the Mid-Continent airport as their computer systmes guy. He
manages the computers for like 10 other airports, though, so he has strings. Raymond's coming to visit
June 29 through July 4!
- Mt. Ranier came out to visit yesterday.
- Can't wait for it to rain today. I'm in a rain mood.
- Two more people (Web and Jennifer's friends) are coming down to visit and staying the night tonight.
The one-bedroom apartment is already full with me on the couch, Web and Jennifer on the bed, and
random computer monitors, towers, and cords all over the carpet. Oh well.
