Who are handy with the htmls...

OPB is hiring for a PBS/OPB series called "Carnival."

PBS is making the special and OPB is building the website.  Some info on the show:

Circus is a six-hour PBS documentary special, scheduled to air nationally in November 2010. The film follows the Big Apple Circus, a traveling, one-ring circus, over the course of an entire season to “immerse viewers in a human drama that is at once wholly unfamiliar and also distinctively American.” OPB is producing a web site and related content for the series that will help build audience awareness of and anticipation for the broadcast. The site will use social media and video content extensively to give viewers multiple opportunities to discover the series, sample and share program within their own networks and engage with on-air personalities and other viewers.

And the job itself:

The Content Producer will primarily be responsible for producing original online content for the site, which will involve researching and writing featured articles and blog posts, editing content from outside contributors and working with the series producers to gather and manage assets. It may also include producing online video clips, games, online chats, photo slideshows and other multimedia content. The Content Producer will also be a key contributor to our online promotion and social media efforts, helping to manage and nurture our online community around the program and developing creative content ideas that will engage and inspire the audience.

Sounds like fun!
