The kitty is nestled in my lap, so my typing accuracy is compromised now.
I just spent the afternoon
blogging about snow, making granola and packaging some movies I sold on half.com. I like to make my DVD sleeves instead of buying them, so this time, I used an inside-out pizza rolls box. After constructing the sleeves with duct tape and cardboard, I glued cut-out pictures of blown glass ornaments from my
Artful Home magazine to the front for decoration. I hope the people who ordered these DVDs like their wrapping.
My Christmas knitting is going quickly, but I think that's mainly because my last project was on size 13 needles with chunky thread. I wish all scarves went that fast. I'm going to spend the rest of tonight finishing mom's scarf and staring Raymond's scarf instead of attending the Journal Broadcast Christmas party. I'd have to arrive late and they're having a dinner/poker night thing at Exploration Place. Neither activity sounds like the "just drop on by" kind of activity. I don't need a big, sloppy goodbye there anyway.
Any ideas for Christmas cookies to make later? I'm starting to get in the holiday mood...halfway through December.
