luck
One might say that my family has terrible luck with car accidents. That we could have so many, whether they were or were not our fault, certainly sucks. But that so many of us have survived so many impossible crashes makes me realize that the terrible luck in terms of crashing is balanced out by the good luck of continuing to not only be alive after these accidents, but uninjured as well.
I hope that good luck will continue to hold out in the future, whether or not the bad luck is coupled with it. :-D
