Houseful of addicts
My 11-year old brother stayed up til FIVE AM last night to level his Undead Mage to 10. I blame it on the Keeper, since he got him excited that there are even more cool spells in lvls of 10 (20,30, etc). Every now and then he'd wake me up to ask me something, and I'd help him out. When he only had 3 spells, he had no problem making a strategy, but he's getting a little random now that he's got more to deal with. lol Unfortunately... he's also on my acct.
Dernex is 26, and I've barely played with my alt, Nyr (druid). She's 8 I think... If I somehow get bored of them both, there's always Dytro, my original mage that I never got back up to lvl 11 after I got my own acct separate from the Keeper's.
Let me just reiterate how insanely cool and badass warlocks are. At lvl 25 I didn't realize it was possible, but Dernex and Zang (vw) took on two lvl 24s and a lvl 27 all in a row without either falling to half life. Redistributing life in your favor is wickedly fun.
The best part about WoW really is the fact that it's multiplayer. Every other game I've ever played, even if I really got into it, eventually became boring. I'm sure WoW will as well... it'll just take longer.
I can definitely see why people become teachers on WoW. I took a lvl 22 mage through Durn. Keep just so we could AoE all those buggers. Raining fire and ice!!! Even tho it wasn't that much xp for me at lvl 25 or whatever, it was fun. He had to get the skulls and was trying to get them from lvl 25 farmers, but I told him the 22s in the Keep would be easier, and faster since we could AoE them together.
My other brother (13 years old) is losing his addiction to it, though. At the end of this month, he's taking a break. :( He did make a character on my server, but it's 10 lvls behind mine. I told him it might be that I can catch my druid up to him so we can play together.
Haven't seen Wae or Wia on too much lately either... :-/
Sooner or later I *do* need to go back to SFK though--Dernex is the gayest-looking BE the world has ever known. Purple vest, reddish pants, green boots, blue-tipped gloves... and those ridiculous ears. *sighs* Oh well. He still kicks ass, even if he looks funny.
I wonder what lvl the Heretic's character is now. Hey dude, if you feel like creating a character on our server (Greymane).... its not like it'll cost your boy any extra. *wink wink hint hint*
Hehehe then I could have Dernex play with the Keeper's pally, Nyr with my brother's tauren, and Dytro with the Heretic's character. Waahoooo.
