Long day is long.
I AM SO FUCKING TIRED I JUST WANT TO SLEEP OMG. But I still have arabic. UNTIL 9 O'CLOCK PM IN THE NIGHT JFC. Only time it's offered so it's not like I just though I could do something stupid ugh.
I've been pretty productive today at least TT 419 is still massively terrifying but Craig is just amazing. I'm so lucky that he's teaching it for real.
I can't form an opinion on english yet I'm just trying not to let it drive me to despair. I need an A in this class. Ugh I don't care what anyone else says it is so much easier to just study for a test where answers are either RIGHT OR WRONG instead of being judged on what are basically opinions.
It sounds like we still have to follow UB standards for assignments at least. Hopefully instead of what's in the book. I really hope we have some open choices in that one because I'm already working with a someone for independent study of Ancient Egypt (I DON'T EVEN KNOW I JUST WANT THIS TO HAPPEN SO BAD) so I could probably apply that work towards this class.
OH MY GOD ON THAT TOPIC HIEROGLYPHICS 1 IS ONLY OFFERED IN THE FALL YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW UTTERLY DISTRESSING THIS IS XD FML I'M TOTALLY GONNA TAKE IT IN TORONTO SOMEHOW. No seriously I'm so sad XD I want to moon. Actually what I really want help with is the transliterations though. I have no idea how to pronounce things that are romanized as x.hrt and niAw. I'm just kind of guessing on the easy ones but with a lot I am completely clueless. UGH AND ARABIC HAS NO VOWELS EITHER WRY XD Actually I've kind of noticed some similarities. Like even if there's no vowels persay they both have A consonants. And there is evidence that show the alif has semitic Egyptian roots. AND NOW I AM RAMBLING OH GOD THIS SEMESTER.
