So I'm home...
Got home safe and everything and gdi I just realized I forgot to tell anyone that XD Sorry. I was so sad to leave it seemed like there was so much going on. I still haven't uploaded pictures but I'll get around to it. There's a lot cause of the scavenger hunt XD pretty sure the big highlight was trap Bayonetta however. Was fooled all weekend till I heard him talk what.
Anyway, I got in a little late on Wednesday thanks to some epic fail on my part and the part of a certain bank. I was suppose to see Robin Hood with Bhavna except then we ended up seeing The Trotsky instead which was omg the best decision we could have made I think. I loved it to pieces and I totally recommend everyone go see it if they can. Canadian movies have just been so good lately especially compared to all the crap I've seen in the past few years.
Thursday we got Ada from the airport and just chilled around the house. Had an awesome dinner courtesy of Scott. Watched some awesome b-movies like Sunday School Musical which is EXACTLY what you think it is except I was extremely disappointed by the lack of preaching and Jesus in it.
Con was well... con. It seemed really slow this year like not a whole lot to do mostly just hanging out with people. It was cool seeing Sam do her panels and I only wish they hadn't conflicted with Scott's. That's pretty much what AN always is even with the numbers dwindling. Was strange not having Steph there for one XD I don't know when I'll get a change to see her again. Catching up with Elly is always great though I'm so glad she seems to be doing well after all her troubles.
Came away with a little swap the best of which is Ougon no Tsuki, Yu-gi-oh doujinshi by Rapan like omg I think I've spazzed about this a billion times but I still can't believe they are in my possession. Admittedly I don't even care that much about doujinshi anymore but the research that was put into this one puts the original series to such shame. It's so pretty and ACCURATE.
Also nabbed a copy of the first Deadman Wonderland since I swore I'd get it because it's so good. Took me way too long to find a copy though. Also a button of Egypt (Hetalia) because it is Egypt and Janine got me a button of the middle of long cat because we were joking about it the night before XD I'm pretty sure it is awesome. Also picked up some art for Rachel (my godchild thing I figure it's just easier to give her a name at this point XD) just something small from what I remembered she liked. XD And you should know that is actually far more than I usually walk away with.
AND THEN I'M PRETTY SURE I SLEPT THE REST OF THE TRIP AWAY LOL. Okay not quite. Monday we went to the Science Centre because Harry Potter exhibit which was probably more awesome than I was expecting. The costumes were just gorgeous, the work that goes into them is stunning and getting to see all the little details up close was a real treat. Trying to figure out construction is an entirely different matter XD Then we got to do SCIENCE for a while. Dropped by pmall on the way home so I could try and snag a couple more things for Rachel cause she was whining at me about only having chocolate pocky XD
Headed home yesterday ;; but not before getting lunch with Sam and Ada and Bonnie ♥
And now I'm at home trying to find a job, missing everyone. I already feel kind of lonely but I'll get over XD
