"And so my advice to all young people who wish to become poets is: do something easy, like learning how to blow up the world -- unless you're not only willing, but glad, to feel and work and fight till you die. Does this sound dismal? It isn't. It's the most wonderful life on earth. Or so I feel."
-e. e. cummings
"Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense."
-buddha
It's crazy that I've stumbled onto this journal, it's been such a long time... yeesh. Just goes to show what I'll do when I'm procrastinating. So.... not much to say, but.. there are some quotes... by Cummings and Buddha, what a friendly mix. My Spanish teacher has a really really nice voice and that just happens to be my topic of the day. On a completely unrelated note I think it is safe to say (Ah I am using so many common sayings in just this little paragraph) that this summer is going to.. perhaps top all the other summers? My birthday, in Europe for my Birthday, Costa Rica with my lovely cousin, St. John with Caity!, New Hampshire, air planes, sitting around, and to top it all off, fixing something that I should have fixed a looong time ago. There I go again being vague.
I should write that Social Studies paper now.
Hi to anyone who strangely happens to be reading this!, drop me a line.
