[Notes] For still_ciircee this time! Believe it or not, this was supposed to all be in chapter 15. I grossly underestimated how many plot points I could fit in one chapter, ha!

This is so amazing. YOU are so amazing. I don't even know where to start. So! I'll start at the beginning. I love how smart Aiba is in this--I always have but I love how you always SHOW it, his brains along with his heart and his joy. I love how Sho is still with them even if he's not walking with them (because real Arashi does split up, sometimes one member isn't there and that's just REAL). I love how his calmness and his quick thinking is their support system.

I love that Ohno CAN do something--so many fics lately in places I won't name have him as this dozy, lazy, unobservant guy. So that he recognizes what's there, sees the trap, YES. Also: Jun's rage. THIS. Jun is not a raving bitch. Jun directs his anger at what needs it. He is a scary motherfucker when the situation calls for it. And this DOES. Yes, you have made me hate the 'Ment. Utterly.

I love that Nino doesn't elaborate on knowing holding. Jun and Aiba know but they probably don't know all of it. Nino plays things close to the vest. Which was why I suspected that he was going to go off on his own since they first started planning going in. Your Nino would never walk into that place freely without destroying it utterly. If he goes in of his own free will, I thought, he's going to make sure that he walks out of a place that no longer exists. And I had the feeling he'd do it alone (or that he thinks he will). Moreover, I think this is true to the spirit of the actual Ninomiya Kazunari--somebody with determination and conviction, who gets his job done and puts his heart into it.

Finally, I know I am jumping around a lot, but I actually got a bit teary when they had to take prisoners in. All the trouble they had in getting in to that place and I think that was the hardest thing even though it took no time at all. Aiba's apologies to that young woman, Ohno blocking that child's sight, Nino picking up an elderly man, and Jun picking up a young guy (and it's like carrying himself in there, there but for the grace and such) and it's such a short bit but it says SO much, especially with the way the Force aren't so happy with it either. I think they're going to free so many more people than just the ones in the holding cell.

Do I ramble? I do, but I love this so much. You're so talented with plot, with action, with characterization. It's...it's just amazing. YOU are just amazing. Which I already said but needed to say again.
