Hello ladies! I'm in Maui right now and told myself that I would only check my email to keep in touch with the company that I am *still* interviewing for. My contact person seems to prefer email as a way to communicate and since the resort here has free internet, we brought the laptop to make sure I could still stay in contact with her. But I wanted to pop in to share this bit of news with all of you:
My sister-in-law just got engaged! It's a great story and too long for me to type it up here, but I am really thrilled for her. She was really scared of the idea of getting engaged/married for awhile now and even talking to her a couple of months ago she still seemed on the fence of whether or not she was ready for it. We talked to her on the phone just a few minutes ago and she sounded really happy. We can't wait to get back to CA to see her and her new fiance and celebrate!
I'm having a mah-velous time here in Maui and am soaking up every sun ray so I look spectacularly tan for the wedding we have in LA the week after we get back.
