Ah. Ladies and Gents, behold Thorin:
Hah! I literally leaped up and down, clapping my hands when I saw this earlier today. Look at my Richard, going all main stream! I'm so proud! But, let us pick apart the costume, shall we? There's some added nose, forehead, eyebrows, and even his hands.

The hands were the really the first detail I noticed. I am in love with that man's hands. He looks like he could almost pass as a Klingon. That getup is quite Martok-esque.
But the rest of the costume is amazing. The imprinting on the leather and the design of the mail shirt. And the sword! I love the sword! That also looks a wee bit Klingon too. Hm. Interesting.
