Have some more!

Title: Forgetful Life - Chapter 2 @ Fanfiction.net

Characters: Ten, Alice Crown

Summary: Alice dreams of a man, a great man. A friend. They have adventures together. But the dreams aren't real. Her life as a patient in the hospital in the Sultra system, that's what's real. Isn't it?

Rating: K - Just an adventure/mystery...thingy.

Teaser:She rested her forehead against the cold metal of the bars, and heaved a sigh. She remembered so much. Her memories stretched back to her childhood, as anyone's do. The only difference was that she knew those memories were purely fantasy. Whether she understood them or not, they were much too fantastic. She only wished that she could remember some of her life on Sultra Five as the doctor told her. They were still in the system. Was Sultra Five like this place at all? Far enough away from its two suns that it snowed all year round, and that the stars in the sky could be seen even during the day? There were no answers.

I should start thinking about taking a shower. I have an eye doctor appointment at three. Hopefully I'll be getting some contacts as well. Woohoo!

Went to see Othello last night at a local theater downtown. It was very well done. Just in black box style, but the actors, particularly Iago and Desdemona were fantastic! I've never seen any version of this play before, and I have to admit that it is one of the more disturbing ones. Hamlet is rather mellow compared with the plot of Othello, because of all of the deception and manipulation that goes on by Iago.

It was fun to see. I'm glad I had the chance.

Work was fantastically torturous yesterday. I sat and shadowed one of the girls ALL DAY until she left at five. She did tell me some useful things, but it was not worth my being stuck in a corner for six hours. The Manager wants to continue with it on Tuesday. *cries!*

I'm amazed that I got through it and was still conscious, though. Jeez! Sometimes I wish that people would at least give in to the assumption that I have a brain sometimes. A brain that wanders when it is not being occupied, no less!
