I love my job, I love my job, I love my job...

What an exhausting morning! And I say that the way Tim Curry would say it, emphasis on the exHAUST.
I've been so busy that when I was called into a meeting I cursed the heavens because it would keep me from getting my work done for about a half hour or twenty minutes.

But, it'll get done, one way or another. It's just baffling because we are in a recession, right? Or am I just misinterpereting the news? I am so thankful to be blessed with a job that keeps me busy but the fact that people are buying so many golf clubs in a recession is a tiny bit of a puzzler. It's not like golf clubs are a very necessary part of life...unless you're Tiger Woods.

Broke past 26,000 words last night. I need to make a map or something so I can keep things straight in my head. I'm getting into the fun part. Well, most of it has been fun so far, which is weird. Time travel is just fun for me to write because you can twist it around in so many different ways and still find a way out if you know what you're doing.

From other time travel plots, the one I'm writing is pretty straight forward. I just need to make sure it's not too much like Back to the Future. I've veered over in that direction once in a while, caught myself, and have had to rethink some things.

I have to force myself to do other things. All I want to do is write. My brain hasn't been in this kind of process for a very long time. Hopefully it's a good thing.

I know this is getting to be all I talk about but it's really all my life consists of at this point. And I'm excited about it. :D I just can't ever get enough done when I sit down to work on it and then have to leave it again.

Heh, I couldn't believe The Office last night! I was literally covering my face and groaning in anticipation. lol

the office, warped, work, writing
