Lunch time! Now I need to go clock out, grab my food, and be right back! Mmmm, balogna...seriously. I'm hungry!
The TARDIS' door was iced shut this morning. I had to wrench on it before it cracked and snapped open. Yep, still winter. Heh, I watched Groundhog Day Saturday night. *snort!*
Today is a great leap forward in the World of Laura's Hair! Today I put my hair up in a pony tail. Tah-DAH! I haven't been able to do this in several years. It's got clips and stuff in it but it's staying and it's long enough to have an actual tail.
My head is most definitely not used to it because I'm getting a headache. *sigh* It's gotten to the point where I can't put anything in my hair because then my head goes ballistic for some reason. I've just had short hair for too long I suppose.
Man! I am hungry. I really don't think what I brought for lunch today will be sufficient. In the words of the ever wise Bear Grylls, "I could murder a cheese cake."
I probably could.
This weekend wasn't too exciting, which is just how I like my weekend. Went to Cecily's choir concert on Friday, the tickets were still expensive but the music was fantabulous! It was all romantic, classic lovey-dovey stuff. Really gorgeous and some of it was way fun too.
I basically did nothing on Saturday. I found out I could put my hair up in a pony tail. And I wrote about 3,500 more words to my Samantha story. It's coming along still. I am running into a problem in the fact that William may be turning into a bit of a smart ass with the character changes I'm doing. Samantha needs to be more of a smart ass than he is so he can get irritated with her. We'll see where that goes.
Sunday, I went to the first bit of church and then came home with a headache where Cecily and I made sad yet somewhat successful attempts to satisfy our sweet teeth (Cecily made fruity Jell-O. I made lame cook book brownies. But we had Cool Whip so it turned out alright in the end.)
All evening yesterday evening we did nothing but watch a M*A*S*H marathon that happened to be on. I love that show. I just adore Honeycutt.
The thing with Said Guy seems to have settled down nicely. He's at least looking at me again. On Friday I went up to Sean and told him:
"If you ever end up liking a girl but don't know quite how to tell her, DO NOT tell her using a Post It Note!"
"Did somebody say he likes you on a Post It Note?"
"YES!"
*Sean starts laughing* "Oh that's terrible. LOL!"
Indeed.
I am slightly irked because tonight my Monday night TV is screwed up. Big Bang Theory is airing during Heroes. I think we know which one is going to take the hit with that one. 'The Hit' meaning me not watching it. lol
I can't download it at the moment either as the home internets are kaput.
